Fresh Start Program

The Fresh Start Difference

Fresh Start Project uses a holistic approach—looking at each participant's big picture to help them see the path to their goals. We are not just another job training program, temp agency, or pipeline pushing individuals through for the sake of a statistic.

We are in partnership with our clients, helping them think differently about their careers, drafting a personal roadmap for success, and coaching the individual to problem solve inside their careers as well as outside of the office.

This personalized attention allows the individual to fully focus on their goals and work from the inside out.

In Loving Memory
James "Biggie" Green
James was famous for telling his colleagues and those he mentored that working in the construction industry was "fun, like an 8-hour workout." And that it never felt much like work to him at all.

This positive energy came through in everything that James touched. His kindness, his zeal for life, his tireless work ethic, and his jovial manner will be how he is remembered forever.

We are so proud to have had the privilege of working with James and he will be greatly missed.

No! We welcome D.C. and Maryland residents into the program

Next Steps Mentorship Program

The 8-week training program gives participants a start on a meaningful career path but the next steps of the journey are up to each individual.

Fresh Start Project is dedicated to wraparound support that extends beyond the bounds of the training course to help guide the individuals on their journies. Mentors from the construction industry help bring industry knowledge as well as accountability, encouragement, and positive reinforcement.

We need Mentors!

Do you work in the construction industry in any capacity? We need mentors to help guide our graduates as they take their next steps on their journey to a meaningful career path.
